Defining diversity and inclusion and their importance in healthcare, understanding the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace, and recognising unconscious biases.
Creating an Inclusive Workplace:
Identifying strategies to create a more inclusive workplace, including fostering a culture of belonging, supporting diversity in recruitment and hiring, and creating opportunities for employee engagement.
Building Effective Teams:
Developing strategies for building diverse and inclusive teams, including creating a safe and respectful environment, fostering open communication, and promoting teamwork.
Managing Diversity & Inclusion:
Learning how to effectively manage diversity and inclusion in the workplace, including addressing conflicts and difficult conversations related to diversity, promoting cultural competence, and implementing policies and practices that support diversity and inclusion.
Measuring and Evaluating Diversity & Inclusion:
Understanding how to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion strategies, and making adjustments as needed to ensure ongoing improvement.
