About this course
A series of five courses for managers and employers working in primary care / GP networks.
The programme runs through the entire lifecycle for ensuring you have the right people plans in place to ensure your future workforce. From planning your business and workforce strategies to practical approaches to attracting, recruiting, onboarding and retaining brilliant people.
We designed this programme in 2021 to specifically meet the needs of employers in GPNs / PCNs. This is a rapidly changing environment with intense pressure for attracting and retaining talented people in key roles within practices and across primary care.
Reference is made to the RCGP Fit for the Future: Workforce Roadmap.
Learning outcomes
The programme is for anyone responsible for the development and implementation of people strategy. In practical terms, this is usually practice managers and their deputies, plus GPs and GP partners. Service managers, for example in therapies and HR professionals in commissioning and support roles will also find these sessions useful.
Live virtual (Zoom/Teams) workshops support this learning.
There is a sister programme to this that is aimed at supporting staff through career transitions. This is also made up of a series of sessions that in many places mirror the sessions for managers listed here. Contact us for more information.
